Loro is an Asian Smokehouse concept from Hai Hospitality that was looking to aggressively grow the concept outside of its existing regional footprint. Fortunately, the brand had many messages that could potentially resonate with both existing and new markets.
Our task was to determine which of their many potential messages resonated with both existing and potential guests and then ensure it was accurately and effectively portrayed through the brand’s identity and website.
We identified the most compelling aspects of the brand experience by conducting primary qualitative and quantitative consumer research. Using the resulting insights, we crafted new core messaging for the brand as well as minted a new brand personality and tone. We then gave the overall identity a facelift by creating a unique, quirky, and visually appetizing brand and website that would stand on its own. Hand-drawn illustrations, a clever pegboard alphabet, and a warm, welcoming color palette makes you want to come on by, kick back, and stay awhile.
